MDW is headed by Melinda de Wet, a professionally trained make-up artist, hair stylist and entrepreneur.
Her editorial work has featured in the Fairlady magazine and she has worked on some greats in the fashion industry.
Working as a free-lance make-up artist and hair stylist she has created some inspiring bridal, fashion, flawless, editorial and glamour applications.

Melinda de Wet initially started her career as an Economics and Law graduate after completing her studies at the North-West University, Potchefstroom campus. While working towards becoming an admitted attorney Melinda ventured into the world of beauty and art and completed a professional course in make-up artistry as well as hair design and styling at the renowned Kohl Make-up Academy, Johannesburg campus. It was her passion for the beautiful things in life, rich cultures and vibrant colours that lured her from the corporate world to the beauty industry.
It is her background in Economics, Law and a Masters degree in International Import and Export Law that assist her in being a successful entrepreneur in an artistic environment.
Melinda is now the head artist at MDW Professional Make-up Artistry and has built a portfolio in the fields of bridal, flawless, beauty, fashion, glamour and editorial make-up and hair design.
